"A World Without Oprah?" At least on tv. It's possible, according to the "New York Daily News." In today's edition, the paper claims that Winfrey may make the 24th season of her Emmy Award winning program her last.
The paper states that Oprah alluded to this possibility on the Thursday, September 10 edition of ABC's "Good Morning America." She did not take a definite stand on the issue, stating that "I have to make that decision by the end of this year," but one wonders what else she has to prove to the world. No one in television history has been more successful or influential than Oprah Winfrey.
Winfrey added, "I am literally in thoughtful prayer and consideration" with regards to her future. Whatever she decides, it will be "news."
