Police brutality in trains

Patna : India | 2 months ago
Views: 41

Personnel of Railway Protection Force who travel in trains are supposed to maintain law and order – but when they throw out a vendor for not paying the bribes. The boy has lost one leg and is fighting for his life in a hospital. It reflects badly on the police profession as a whole. It defeats the very purpose of their presence in moving trains. Any number of vendors enters the trains and sells odd stuff ranging from quick bites to toys and tea. Some of them even sing and beg for alms. All those who vend in running trains have suitable monetary arrangements with the RPF personnel to carry on their business without any hindrance. It seems this 14-year old boy gave five rupees instead of the regular ten – this annoyed the policemen and they threw him out.
