The world is a strange place and at times throws us off balance. This is a glaring example of the perennial clash between conservatives and liberals. Imagine a married couple of 30 years standing quibbling over hair styles. The man is a Doctor, they have grown up college-going kids and he took objection to his wife cutting her hair too short. The woman took the affair quietly but her daughter felt it should be protested. She went and lodged a complaint in the police station. The police had to mediate because their Rule books do not have any suitable clause for arrest! It seems there was an earlier case when a daughter-in-law complained to the police against her ma-in-law who did not want her to wear jeans while her own daughters did!! Why should there be such disparity she asks.
