Pizzas and a healthy heart are all that you need to swim the seven seas or the five Great lakes. Paula Stephanson (30) should know because she has done it. She became the second person to swim all the five Great lakes – she swam 56 kilometers of Lake Michigan in 25 hours and 38 minutes. With 20 years training in swimming behind her and an appetite for pastas and pizzas, she has achieved the difficult task of swimming the five Great lakes. She began swimming when she was only 10 and has justified the age-old saying ‘where there is a will, there is a way’.
