Saying that they have agreed in principle, the Memphis Grizzlies said Allen Iverson will be joining the team which has struggled to attract fans.

Iverson, the 1996 first round pick and 2001 MVP will be joining his fourth team after Philadephia, Denver and Detriot. He has a career scoring average of 27.1 points per game but this went down last season to 17.4 per game.

"God Chose Memphis as the place that I will continue my career", said Iverson.

Sounds like a good trade for the grizzlies, though I'd like to see him go back to philly.

This is not a good trade for the Grizzlies, but I am happy to just see Allen Iverson back with a team. Iverson, Rudy Gay, and OJ Mayo will all command way to many shots and since there is only one ball, it spells major problems in Memphis!

thats not fair to the answer. isn't there a team that he can be traded to so he can win a ring before he retires?

He can join the lakers or the cavaliers. But he may be a fit with the lakers because of Phil Jackson. In the past, Phil has taken in good players and successfully managed them in to accepting different roles other than starting.
