Berlin : Germany | 2 months ago

To American television viewers david Hasselhoff is the hunky guy who drove the super talking car in "Knight Rider" and the girls eye candy among the scantily clad beach beauties in "Baywatch"; but to music fans in Germany David Hasselhoff is a rock star. In 1989 the rocker joined a star studded line up with Joni Mitchell, Bryan Adams, Van Morrison, and Sinead O'Connor to celebrate the comeing down of the Berlin Wall signaling the end of Communism in Europe.

Later this year another concert will be held to commemmorate the twentieth anniversary of that historic event and again Hasselhoff will be a part of the show's line up. In the original concert Hasselhoff performed "Looking for Freedom" but this time around he is planning something completely different. While no details of his performance have been released, Hasselhoff is hinting a performance inspired by a group of artists he loves - The Rat Pack (Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Joey Lawrence).
