Youngest sex change operation
The sex change operation on a week old baby must certainly go down in the Record Books – the baby is hardly a week old. Born to a middle class family, the baby had male genitals on the outside but female organs internally. The parents found something odd a few days after its birth and consulted the pediatrician. He suggested that they should go for a sex change operation. That has been done and the baby is now a girl – she is expected to lead a normal life as a girl. The team of doctors deserves a round of applause for the feat. The youngest to undergo such an operation till now was a 12-year old transsexual named Kim of Vienna – that was in 2007.
