The New American Idol Host!

I'm not a huge fan of "American Idol." I watch it only occasionally. But now, I might watch it a bit more often. It was reported tonight that Ellen DeGeneres will be the new judge, replacing Paula Abdul.

DeGeneres will still be hosting her day-time talk show in addition to her work on "Idol." I can't wait to see how she and Simon interact. Will she be too quick for him? Maybe she'll do one of her dances. We'll see!

    I think they should have chosen someone with some musical connection, but it will be intersting to see how she interacts with Simon.
