Melanie Oudin, is she for real?
Melanie Oudin, the 17 year old tennis sensation from the US has beaten three (3) seeded players at the 2009 US Open.
Having beaten Maria Sharapova in the 3rd round after her thriumph over No 4 Dementieva, Oudin is having an amazing run at the US Open.
Her next oponent would be Carolyn Wozniacki of Denmark, the no. 9 seed who upset two time major champion Svetlana Kuznetsova.
Her run at the US Open is now being compared to her illustrious compatriots like Cris Evert and Tracy Austin.
