Glenn Beck is terrorist who led Van Jones lynch mob, says liberal ...

The liberal movement is not happy that President Obama has thrown ex-Green Jobs Czar Van Jones under the bus.

This signals the latest rift between the left and the Kool-Aid drinking pseudo-progressives who threw Hilary Clinton under the bus for the empty suit from Illinois.

Czar Van Jones was a left-wing true believer, one of the few real dyed-in-the-wool San Francisco movement liberals in the White House.

Now that Obama has given him the boot, we again find so-called progressives questioning Obama’s commitment to their cause.

Or, rather, his glaring lack of commitment to them aside from the votes they stupidly generated for him in 2008.

David Sirota, the influential liberal writer and pundit, is particularly furious at the Obama White House, castigating Obama for giving in to Glenn Beck, whom Sirota calls a “political terrorist” who led the “lynch mob” that toppled Van Jones.

Sirota wondered aloud on CNN and on the Huffington post why crisis causing Wall Street-Washington oligarchs like Ben Bernanke and Tim Geithner welcome in the White House while Van Jones is out on the street.

The answer, of course, is that last year’s Obamania duped Sirota and the rest of the left, as Obama has no allegiance to anyone or any principle besides that of saving and protecting his own behind.

Apparently, Obama voters were not paying attention when he threw under the bus his grandmother and his spiritual advisor of two decades Jeremiah Wright.

Apparently, they did not notice as Obama embraced Bush policies on terrorism and attacked Hilary Clinton for supporting real health care reform.

Obama has always been a Wall Street lackey and tool of the establishment: it is well known from long ago to anybody smart enough to pay attention.

Democrats have only ourselves to blame for creating the corporatist monster that is the Obama White House.

Yep... Glen Beck is a terrorist, and Bill Ayers is a simple college professor. Is that a credibility gap or what? Nice article Raul. You make some great points!

I don;t know if I would call Obama a corporate monster. He is as much a monster as anyone who wears the mantle he has to wear is. His means are generally intelligent and his method direct and honest. The fact is he looks to achieve certain goals for himself and his country and as a politician his scruples are considerably better than most, at least it appears so. The fact is he has certain interests to balance and will do so to the best of his ability as long as he can until it impinges upon his perceived duty to his country. That is when his real moral fibre will be tested.

I think, Raul, that your article is well articulated and intelligent. Van Jones was thrown under the bus just like Reverand Wright.

I could not care any less about any of those czars, except that my tax dollars are going to pay their exhorbitant wages.

I am not a Democrat, did not vote for President Obama, hoped for the best when he got elected, expected him to do well, but all I see is a blind follower in a nice suit galavanting around the world with his family in tow.

    Great article, Raul.
