The Rise and Irony of the Zionist Reich

Jerusalem : Israel | 2 months ago

In what may be the most ironic example of national trauma bonding, Israel's government has policies that have become morbidly reminiscent of Nazi Germany's. For example:

  • According to an article on Haaretz.com, The Israeli government has begun a de facto Eugenics campaign in order to combat the "national threat" posed by Jewish intermarriage. Specifically, the Israeli government is:
  • " [urging] Israelis to report the particulars of acquaintances living abroad ...who are 'in danger' of marrying non-Jews... Campaign organizers ...are calling on Israelis and Jews to enlist to prevent the 'strategic national threat' posed by [miscegenation and] assimilation."

In short, the "Chosen People" are being urged to emulate the "Master Race" and prevent a national threat by preserving their racial identity; a situation which, in compounded irony, depends on reporting Jews to the appropriate authorities.

  • In 1967 Israel annexed Palestinian sovereign territories through military force, and to this day continues to occupy and establish settlements within said territories. This act, which has been condemned as a violation of international law by the world community, draws parallels to The Third Reich's occupation of the Rhineland; it also draws looser parallels to the Third Reich's occupation of Axis Europe.
  • By actively destroying and seizing Palestinians' property and restricting their access to food, water, medicine, employment, travel, and other basic needs (by means of both security checkpoints and active policies of discrimination), Israel has effectively turned Palestinians into second-class citizens and forced them to live in ghettos.

See Amnesty International's Report on Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories for further details.
  • Israel has also waged Blitzkrieg-style offenses against Palestine, most recently its December 2008 bombardment and subsequent ground invasion of Gaza.

Israel was founded by refugees from and survivors of the incipient ills now being inflicted on the Palestinian people. It is sad that, in creating its Volksgemeinschaft, the Israeli apple has fallen so close to the Nazi tree.
