9.05 trillion dollars is optimistic

Let's be honest. I can't comprehend a trillion of anything. Truthfully, I have a hard time comprehending what a billion is much less something that is a thousand times that. So I got some help. There are a trillion seconds in 31,546 years. Meaning nine trillion seconds would be 283,104 years. That site provides another illustration if the above doesn't help. If a trillion dollars was in one hundred dollar bills, you could store it all in a football stadium.

The prediction of a 9.05 trillion dollar defecit assumes a rise in the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) that averages 2.8% between 2009 and 2019. Data from the federal Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) disputes this. They say that while a bounce to the economy is typical after a recession, it rarely lasts that long.

Add to that cap-and-trade and healthcare reform as well as the fact that neither party seems to have any discipline fiscally.
