Yes your eyes are not playing a joke on you, Twilight the game is now under development by a new company called Brain Junk Studios that has not developed any other titles.
From what not only the lead programmer website says,

But also the video games web site

They say the game will be running on the “Esenthel Engine” which is a new Graphic Engine which has only been used on small scale games.

Now from what the official website say it will not only have two single player Campaigns, but also but also online multiplayer. Where as the site says, “Create your own character and play in online multiplayer as Human, Vampire, or Werewolf.
Also the two story lines will follow through the full twilight Saga, meaning that this will most in likely be the only game made based off the books. From what the Lead Game programmer said in a interview it seems as if they want to use Project Natal with the game.
Now this would truly make the game amazing seeing what Project Natal does. For those who don’t know about project Natal, it’s a new step forward in interactive gaming making it where the gamer becomes part of the world, and the characters not only recognize the person but interact with them, and learn about them.

As for the core game play they haven’t told what it will be, but from putting two and two together, -That being project Natal, and the reports on the official website.- It looks like Twilight the game will be some sort of a hybrid of a point and click adventure.
Sadly there has been no word on which counsels it will be on or when it will be released, but from the looks of it Twilight The Game, seems to be in the early stages of Development.
The team right now at brain junks studios is working only on Twilight and their staff has; One game programmer, Three Concept Artist's, One Graphic Designer, One PR, One producer, and One Writer.
I can’t even begin saying how excited I am about this because I am a huge fan of Stephanie Myers work and have even a Twilight shirt at home. I will keep a very close eye on this and make a new post when more news is available, also I will see if the Lead Programmer will be nice enough to grant me a short interview with him.
Till next Time - Josh
