SAN MATEO, CA,---There was an attempted massacre at Hillsdale High School, in San Mateo, CA, monday morning August 24, 2009.
A former student, Alexander Youshock, 17, planned to set of ten bombs in the school: two were set--- they went off--- and he had a small sword and a chainsaw to kill any survivors. Since his chainsaw would not start, after the second bomb went off, a teacher tackled him and held him down until authorities arrived.
Kennet Santana, the teacher, stopped a massacre, according to authorities, by holding the accused ex-student down.
Alexander Youshock, 17, will be treated as an adult, according to the District Attorney, it was stated, Wednesday in a court hearing.
The defendant will be charged with: first degree attempted murder; exploding a dangerous device with intent to commit murder; possession of a dangerous device; and explosive devices in an act of terrorism. If convected he could spend from three-years to seventeen-years in prison, or life in prison without parole.
