Taliban, Security Forces of Pakistan Creating Environmental problems in Tribal Areas

The United Nations Environmental Program works to prevent deforestation and other threats to the environment. The UN required international cooperation to cope on global environmental issues. The United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) encourages and coordinates sound environmental practices throughout the world also approach to environmental problems on international level, provides expertise to member countries, monitors environmental conditions worldwide, develops environmental standards, and recommends alternative energy sources. The UNEP conference was held in Brazil in 1992 participated more than 100 countries focus on environmental development agenda .First environment conference was held in Sweden in 1972 with agreement of some principles that one member countries should not cause environment damage of another country. Second environment conference was held in Kenya in 1982. The developing countries promised to protect natural resources develop their industries while keeping the protection of environment. The Brazilian summit also adopted global warning treaty stress to reduce earth temperature by preventing fissile fuels and provide alternative resources, the second imported one treaty adopted during earth summit to protect the living organisms in particular location under the treaty nations agreed to preserve the habitat for animals and plants.

Tribal areas of Pakistan symbol of greenness contain on natural resources have been affected due to beginning of war on terror. Neither Taliban nor the security forces of Pakistan address end to the war. The clashes between security forces and diverse Taliban groups not only given unforgettable destruction to local tribal customs/traditions, culture, and leadership beside these creating environmental problems. Tirah included beautify valley of the world most of its part contain on Natural resources. The Lashkar-e Islam and Ansar –Ul Islam two rival militant groups fighting against each other on the peaks of Tirah valley since the war on terror broke out in the tribal region. They are using devastating weapons burnt precise plants killing wild animals not only violate the human rights but also abusing the principles of United Nations Environment Program. Terrorism and extremism to be considered threat to Europe countries along with United States of America but the environment problems have global affected the members of the United Nations. The UN members should bring efforts together to protect the environment by keeping the promise to practically implement the principles of global environment program. Taliban hide in grassy mountain cutting the precise plants to produce fire to warm them without caring the importance of Natural resources. The Taliban used to make picnic programs stolen the local animals including goats, sheep and cows in abundance enjoying UN human life in the grassy mountains,

The security forces of Pakistan equipped with modern weapons fighting against the Taliban mentally wrapped up with psychological diseases. They target every movement objects They haven’t only demolished tribal houses but also shelters of wild animals, they made barriers in mountains to focus on Taliban activities from the height starting un discrimination firing their rifle bullets burnt the greenness of mountains which Nature granted to the wild and domestic animals . According to the local various kinds of birds small animals have been killed by security forces of Pakistan remaining are running to neighbour mountain located in Afghanistan. The security forces prohibit local tribal to graze their domestic animals in near mountains. Due to poverty local cannot meet the grass expenditure of domestic animals compel to graze them in nearest mountains? I wrote just to draw the attention of United Nations member countries and United Nations Environment program authorities to focus on hidden environment issue in tribal areas increasing day by day to protect the global environment through join struggle.
