Barack Obama greets Muslims on Ramadan

Continuing on his mission of promoting brotherhood among different communities, the US President Barack Obama has greeted all Muslims worldwide on the occasion of Ramadan. This is the holy month when dawn to dusk fasting is undertaken by Muslims. The video message is in 12 languages including Hindi, Urdu, Bengali and Punjabi among others. In the message, Obama has said that the rituals of Ramadan remind one that the basic principles of Christianity and Islam follow same principles of advancing justice, progress, tolerance and dignity of all humans. He also asserted that his administration was in the process of building a world that is more peaceful and secure.

    That was a very noble gesture on the part of President Obama.Thanks for the report prabirghose.No doubt Islam and Christianity are two religions that came into being and are the descendants of Hazrat Abraham.(correct me if I'm wrong.)
