Hinduism influences the Americans

New York City : NY : USA | 3 months ago
Views: 61

Americans, it seems, have begun to believe that there are many paths to reach God. ISKCON must have had a very big role to play – based in New York City and set up in 1966, the International Society for Krishna Consciousness had propagated the teachings of Lord Krishna. There are many Americans who believe in re-incarnation and love to do the yoga. Whether these decisions are results of watching Bollywood movies with themes of re-incarnation or the Yoga popularized by the likes of Baba Ramdev, the truth cannot be wished away. Americans are turning towards Hinduism as a new way of life. They want to be burnt at the pyre on death like the Hindus – that, they feel is the way to Nirvana or liberation of the soul.
