I'm 24 years old right now. If I want to feel old, I look at two things. My computer and my gaming systems. I started out with an Apple IIe computer. I have no idea how much memory there was on the hard drive (partly because I had no idea what a 'hard drive' was back then) but I'm almost sure that it was less then four gigabytes. At my local Wal-Mart they're selling flash drives that hold four gigabytes of data for about fifteen dollars and you can hold it in your pocket. My first gaming system was the original Nintendo and was eight bits. I never had one but I remember playing on an Atari 5600 which was what, four bits? Now do they even mention that? Perhaps its for the best if they don't.
Enough of that for now. I bought a PSP about two years ago and was real impressed with the hardware. Not only were their games but you could put music, movies (granted those need a special format so it takes a little work), and photos on it along with connect to the internet and play wirelessly. Now it seems a digital reader is coming later this year and Sony is joining with Marvel and some unnamed companies. Currently, Marvel only plans to release classic comics and they're not speculating about releasing current ones according to a spokesmen.
Due to the small screen of the PSP; I'm not really thrilled at the prospect of reading comics on it. What does excite me though is the portential of it. It's not a big leap to speculate something like the Kindle on it; especially since Sony already has an e-book reader.
