How Are We Doing? Progress Reporting from Rural Antelope, CA

We're doing better then we were in the close of the Bush years, which appears to have lasted long enough to bring about this wonderful new approach to our relationship with government. Amid the noise and droning of the past established ruling party's choices and decisions, the smoke is finally clearing. I have the belief it has to do with the focus of the current ruling party head.

That head seems to be focused on positive outcomes and results. That head participates in full view. That head knows everyone will not be pleased but seems to work from the premise that the ultimate majority will be served. I find this quite refreshing.

Conflicts and contrasts are lessening in observation. We also appear to be searching for similarities and sameness instead of difference or reasons of opposition. While among us are many, who seem to be reaching for methods and ways to introduce their beliefs in dynamic ways, many more are finding ways to co-exist within themselves and allow that inner sensation to effect their environment positively.

Employment numbers are being quietly reported as stabilizing and in many cases reversing. Here in Antelope, California road widening, municipal improvements and other construction related programs and projects that were on hold have proceeded putting many middle income skilled tradesman back to work. And when I have bothered to ask or investigate I have found either stimilus or recovery monies to be the underlying impetus to this transition.

Financial markets are coming around as they realize the stabilization has taken place and without us they would not exist. The discussion on fees and actually services under the new guidelines, level the playing field and put the benefits squarely with the consumer, while doing just that allowing them the bigger benefits assoicated with their investments.

Housing in relationship to employment and the finanicial markets is also receiving the benefits of the reversals in other markets. People are buying again but from a more encoraging platform. Again many are aided by both stimilus and recovery monies made available to them because they pay taxes.

So how are we doing?

From my point of view just fine!
