The extremist Palestine group Hamas killed the leader of an al-Qaida-inspired group Abdel-Latif Moussa in a terrible fighting carried out in a mosque in Gaza strip today.

At least 22 people were killed in the fighting, it is said. There was terrible fighting in Rafah on the Egyptian border, where about 100 members of Jund Ansar Allah, or the Soldiers of the Companions of God, were holed up, international media reports said.

"The operation is over and what is going on right now is searching and clearing the area," The Guarding newspaper quoted Ihab Ghussein as saying. I"t was not clear whether Moussa died when an explosives belt he was wearing detonated or from Hamas gunfire."

Dr Moaiya Hassanain, a health ministry official in Gaza is quoted as saying by the newspaper a total of 22 people, including six Hamas police officers and an 11-year-old girl, were killed in the violence and a further 150 were wounded.

The Jund Ansar Allah "We swear to God to avenge the martyrs' blood and we will turn their women to widows," it said.

The extremists are creating problem everywhere in the world whether it is in Pakistan, Afghanistan or Israel.
