Samsung "Early Retirement"

Samsung reports that the "early retirements" will affect no more than 20 people. In fact it is believed that it will turn the lives upside down of over 500 workers and their families. If you have ever been to Samsung, it is a beautiful place. Wonderful landscaping, the best technology for their workers, etc. If you ask me, they should be spending less on landscaping and more on the financial future of their employees and the families that depend on them. Shame on you Samsung, everyone knows you buy your material for Samsung from a company you own overseas which means you make the big bucks. Shame.

That's terrible news. It must be devastating for the workers who are now in that situation. Hopefully they can somehow remain financially stable. You have a good point. When money is tight, landscaping isn't exactly a top priority. It's definitely a questionable decision.

Yep, my husband got laid off yesterday from Samsung. It was our 4th wedding anniversary too. The silver lining is that he got to come home early and spend the day with me. Now we have to come up with some ideas....and fast!!

Yep, my husband got laid off yesterday. On our 4th wedding anniversary. The silver lining is that he got to come home early and spend the day with me. I am a stay at home mom, so we have to find answers fast. He is very intelligent, etc. but unless you have that little piece of paper from college stating so, then you are SOL!
