Wal-Mart Vineland NJ Store #3339 Sponsors Back to School Shopping Spree for NJ Boys & Girls Club Members

Members of the Vineland Boys and Girls Club joined club members from Atlantic City and Camden for a “back-to-school” shopping spree today at the Walmart Vineland Supercenter. Store manager Mark Conley greeted the youngsters and presented them with $100 Walmart shopping cards to purchase school supplies and new school clothes. Among other things, Walmart is the presenting sponsor for the Boys and Girls Club Youth of the Year program, in which club members from around the state compete for scholarship money and other recognition of their educational and leadership achievements. Atlantic City Club member Cristal Millan, 2008 New Jersey Youth of the Year, gave a motivational talk before the children went shopping with their club advisors.
