Madonna Crypto-Satanist?

On August 15 the material girl MadonnaMadonna is scheduled to perform her first concert in Poland. The problem is the Poles are not happy since the Warsaw event falls on a Christian Holy Day. For the religious Poles the date is deemed Holy since it is the day the Virgin Mary ascension into heaven. According to Reuters Poland's President Lech Walensa asked Madonna to move the date but the pop artist refused.

Madonna's refusal to change concert dates has some Polish citizens crying foul. One resident said, "the pop star is a "crypto-Satanist' who goes out of her way to offend religious believers." Marian Baranski stated in a news conference, "Madonna specialises in offending religious feelings. Former Polish parliament member Zygmunt Wrzodak said, "Madonna sneers at Jesus Christ, the symbol of the cross and all Christians."

In recent years Madonna is one of several celebrities who claim to follow Kabbalah - Jewish mysticism.
