What is going on with the Red Sox?

I'm about as big of a Boston Red Sox fan as they come, growing up about 30 minutes outside Boston I was practically raised on Red Sox and Patriots and yes even a little Bruins thrown in there, but lately I just don't know, it's like they lost the magic or something, the Red Sox I mean, the Patriots we will have to wait and see.

The first mistake they made lately? Trading Justin Masterson in my opinion, they should have kept him and got rid of Bucholz, Clay Bucholz is really way too overhyped, so he pitched a no hitter last season, what has he done for the Red Sox since? mark my words now , Justin Masterson is meant for greatness in this pasttime we call Baseball.

Even with what I believe to be our best player Aquisition in years, Victor Martinez, we are still doing horribly the last 10 games or so, swept by the Yankees? come on we haven't lost to them all year, why now? I'll tell you part of the reason why, this steroid and David Ortiz bullshit, his names released by a New York journalist nonetheless and out of a list of 104 only his and Manny Ramirez's name are released, little fishy don't ya think? So yea no matter what "Big Papi" says , of course it's a distraction, to have your whole career questioned, I for one don't care who did steroids, it was the only way to keep up with the rest of the league that was anyways.

I just hope the Red Sox do something soon, the Bullpen is looking shaky these days and the batting is looking flaky, where are my champion Red Sox?
