The numbers aren't as convincing as the bike brigades. The turn-out reminded me of the 70's. We biked through town, over train tracks and throughout the river path rose garden. It inspired positive connections, closer relationships, and most importantly, community bonding that gave us a sense of family. Friends and family together cycle through city streets in pursuit of hopes and dreams to come true: to fly, to prosper, to live, to educate, to cure, to respect, to open, to succeed, to jive, to protect, to procure, and to breath as one. Students and teachers alike bonded on bicycle while pedaling down broadway, some clothed, some robed, policemen and women drove, many sobbed, people proposed peace, some without clothing, it was raining, at least.
