In the world of Frankenstein

Wonder if anyone knows that the novel Frankenstein was written in the period 1817 - 1818 by a young 18-year old girl Mary Shelly – it is the story if a monster created by a scientist Victor Frankenstein. The scientist resurrected a dead body and put life into the corpse but, it finally came to haunt him and the scientist was unable to control its actions. The novel was made into a movie in 1931 and in 1994. However, the storyline was altered and the charm still remained. Frankenstein is a fictional character but is reminiscent of the monsters that we create day in and day out. Especially in politics, the leaders identify individuals who they groom into becoming monsters. They are initially programmed to follow instructions of the master or creator but, over a period time, they get an identity of their own and begin to overrule the master. It is a wonder how a girl in the 19th century could foresee what the world would look like in the 21st century.
