The Eerie Orbs of Jewel Lake
by Zane E. Punditty, esq.
As Punditty did wander near Berkeley's Jewel Lake,
He spyeth two ducks merrily at play.
He pulled out his camera, for pictures to take,
And clicked several times, ere the ducks went away.
But when he returneth to the Punditty Pad,
Imagine his shock upon seeing
Eerie spheres, like ghosts getting mad,
So scary, yet somehow still freeing!
O hark, yonder orbs, from what realm do you come,
And what is your earthly mission?
To make digital camera owners look dumb,
Or to bring us secrets, like nuclear fission?
These orbs are so wondrous, yet chillingly weird -
Were the ducks perhaps in fact ghostly?
As Punditty mulls, he scratcheth his beard,
Ah, 'tis still a great mystery, mostly.
For ducks they do quack, and cameras do click,
Yet orbs just show up whenever.
What if these ducks know the orbs' secret tricks,
While Punditty just isn't that clever?
It's up to the viewer to make a decision
Though naked eyes cannot see or hear it;
Doodads or dust, orbs come sans conditions,
Then move on, just like angels or spirits.
