EXTREMISM OR TERRORISM: A WEAPON

The 20th century produced many deadliest weapons of mass destruction amongst which the Atom bomb is the most well known. But the 21st century invented the most unique and hefty weapon "Extremism or Terrorism". It is probably the most widely used and successful weapon so far.

We know that inventions take place as a result of accidents. The 9/11 accident invented this great weapon. All other inventions were due to tragic incidents but this unique invention is probably a result of a manual or preplanned accident and it would be too much pessimism to conceal this reality. However history may reveal this at times and there may be an end to this dilemma sooner or later.

Unlike other weapons or products which after being manufactured are kept in that country and become a sign of security and sovereignty of that country, the weapon "Extremism or Terrorism" is firstly induced into the country to be its victim and then the manifestation of its disastrous nature is being observed.

Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, Chechnya and Kashmir etc are the victims of this weapon and the reasons for it are nothing else but the religion Islam and some financial interests of the manufacturers of this weapon. It was introduced and induced into Afghanistan in the form of Taliban and at the right time it bursted out and lit fire to Afghanistan.

The misery of the Tribal areas of Pakistan started with the war on Terror in Afghanistan. The weapon was slowly and gradually introduced in the Tribal areas and the consequences are being observed these days. The poor and backward Tribesmen had no idea that the fate would bring about this much destruction onto them. They have always been used as toys just to fulfill the criteria of different plans and policies and their lives and pleasures ruined just for the sake of others and the so-called national interests. They don't know that their sacrifices for Islam and Pakistan are being sold by their rulers to appease the masters USA and her allies.

The more this weapon gets older the more it spreads out to the Muslim community and the more it destroys them. It is not only a menace for the Tribal areas or Pushtoons but also for the integrity and security of Pakistan. The Muslims need to acknowledge this fact and serious measures desperately need to be taken against Extremism or Terrorism, as it is just a drama and a platform to destroy Muslims and their stability.
