MTV and VH1 play very little in the way of music videos these days, but MTV still airs the annual VMA (Video Music Awards). This year the awards will be held on September 13 on MTV. Fans can cast votes for their favourite videos up until the day of the show. Videos awarded to non performers, the professional categories, are not open to fan voting. Fans may cast votes by gong to: http://www.mtv.com/ontv/vma/2009/.
