Japan refines automation

Tōkyō : Japan | 4 months ago
Views: 16

The Japanese work silently and take the world by surprise. News are filtering out that they have developed a wheel chair that moves by will power – the person occupying the chair just has to think where he wants to go and the chair moves! There are electrodes fitted on his head and the impulses of the brain get translated into motion! The system has linked two old technologies – known as the Blind Signal Separation (BSS) and space-time-frequency filtering (STF). These operate in tandem to give the desired result. The development is in the preliminary stage and, when it finally hits the market would come as a blessing to invalids.
