Suspected Mumbia Terrorist Admits Guilt

Mumbai : India | 4 months ago
Views: 21

After the terrible terrorist attack in Mumbai, India; the lone survivor of the event that claimed 166 innocent lives over three days finally admitted to taking part in the attack. Authorities had interviewed and questioned Ajmal Kasab numerous times before and in those questionings, Ajmal pleaded that he was innocent and had taken no part in any such crimes. While on the stand Ajmal took the judge through a detailed account of the events that unfolded that day when he and his partner Abu Ismail attacked a Jewish center and two five-star hotels, one that included the Taj Mahal. In the attack both men were carrying numerous grenades as well as automatic-rifles.

When asked if Ajmal had taken part in the terrorist events by the judge, Ajmal responded by saying, "Sir, I plead guilty to my crime. I was firing and Abu was hurling hand grenades." This guilty plea also confirmed India's suspicions that Pakistan was housing or as they claim responsible for the attacks. This will undoubtedly put a larger strain on the already hostile relationship between the two heavily nuclear armed enemies. When the judge asked Ajmal why he finally admitted to the crime, Ajmal claimed that since the Pakistani government admitted that Ajmal was a Pakistani citizen it made it extremely difficult to continue on with his story. No punishment or fate has been determined yet for Ajmal, but we all can likely expect something drastic or horrific.
