"Obesity needs to be tackled in the same way as climate change, a top nutritional scientist has said." Full Story See: http://www.global-consciousness.com/page.php?page=newsarchive

Obesity is a drain on our resources. A study by Louisiana State University showed how a large portion of the worlds population only requires 900 calories per day . The world average, daily calorie intake per person is 2800 per day . Just think of the pollution from bodily waste alone to realize how unsustainable this is. Obesity has grown partly due to the fact that in the West we have lost our connection to the miracle of the food growing process. For most of us the wonder, the wisdom and the connection of food to the earth and its cyclical processes have been torn from our consciousness. Solution = 1000 Cals per Day Grow at Home Raw Vegan We only need simple advice, links and evidence to support the dire need for a world population of 1000 Calorie Per Day Grow at Home Raw Vegans . It's the only solution to a process that is so damaging it is absurd that anyone follows this so unquestioningly, as most of seem to do. Growing your own vegetables at home in the garden is the most commonsensical solution.
