Bird's Nest
Egg shells from last year
decorate tomorrow
today, an eyesore
turned up the telegram
wonder how the feathers
did imagine when today's worth
wiould put the nest together again
Shaken by the wind
now it'ds told we, oh, we who reap the benefits of a home
safe and secure
can call our respect and love to the ducklings and geese in the pond of today
