All is fair in love and war, but how can we be humanitarian and still have hatred for one another based on politics? This nationalism is clearly found spewing from the udders of this wolf in sheep's clothing. Most of the information herein is found on BCC's website and within Oxfam International's own document entitled "Five Years of Illegality", these I quote.
I think after review, we will find that this brand is highly undereducated in the facts and lacks what it takes to address and indentify the key solutions and or struggles of this magnificent region of our own planet Earth.
Let us begin with a line from Jeremy Hobbs, Oxfam International's own Executive Director, and I quote, "Israel's concern to assure the security of its civilians is legitimate, but its measures should nonetheless remain in conformity with international humanitarian law." I disagree, let us once again take measure of priority and adjust the precedent. I argue that a nation who is charged with the protection of its own citizens must make that security a priority over any other condition, especially a ban placed and argued for by foreign elite, with little experience in the fore-mentioned region. It is easy to mis-placate a foreign power by offering a peace-proposal, and if the premise is unfounded or inefficient in dealing with the problem at hand then why should a sovereign nation fold before a committee?
To be specific, the main topic in this forum (which it can) is the anti-palestine wall (or so it seems?) but more closely put, Security Border, in place throughout the country as a precautionary safety measure for all.
Lets quote another line from Mr. Hobbs, where he writes his own agenda into the public eye, "As immediate changes are imperative. Oxfam International calls on the international community to demonstrate POLITICAL WILL and to abide by its responsibility under international law. It is time to CONDEMN and challenge the construction of the wall..." First and foremost let it be known that the first sentence is written in highly grammatically imperfect English. Second, how can we condone the off-hand call to public demonstration and uproar? Third, we have castration of an international body, in an attempted subjugation of the moral authority of sovereignty. Even to the point of calling for rebellion. In addition, this is a push for an alternative, despite clear evidence that the current measure is in fact a humane step towards peace.
I now quote the BBC, 'Law must thwart' Israeli barrier in saying, "Israel, however, dismissed the ICJ (Intl. Court of Justice) judgement and General Assembly vote as "Non-binding" and looked to its own High Court ruling that the ICJ view was flawed as it did not consider Israel's security needs...necessary answer to the threat of...suicide bombings. And it says it has contributed to the virtual eradication of that threat, which took more than 200 Israeli lives in 2002."
And I quote, "Since the completion of the security fence in the northern and central regions of the country, the number of successful terror attacks inside Israel has dropped almost to zero." an Israeli military spokesman said."
I call upon a more peaceful measure. Let us see through the cracks of the real wall, which is the blind hatred which binds us down and ties our feet with the fetters of un-indulged anger.
