Democracy in Iran?

Tustin : CA : USA | 4 months ago

It seems that we can't get enough struggle in these times. Isn't it enough that there is real war, elsewhere and at home, that we have to take to the streets and disturb the peace? Please excuse the pun, but its a riot. No joke. I mean who can honestly claim that these public outcries either raise awareness, heighten public interest or concern, or in the best possible imagination, cause real change in the region of focus?

Let us analyze what it truly takes to get things done out in Iran. Its war. It seems that this is no place for the citizen. Yet, we aim to cause it at home. Who can tear at the fabric of a little political system, from their kitchen, screaming? Its too little... How many tax dollars are spent keeping crime down, and how many dead presidents does it take to keep them in line? Now I'm not talking about the hood, but the suburbs. Why is traffic slowed down to watch the sad display of a little anger and a little, soft voice over a bull-horn? I can answer that, but that's for you to decide as the reader.

If you should care to see, there is quite a show going on down near the shopping center accross the way by Costco in Tustin. Its fine time, and if you're in the area, perhaps you've already taken a gander. We all want peace, but I know...I know these protests are not the way to it. Lets find the real lesson.
