Taliban attacked the rival militant group in Mohmand tribal region of Pakistan

Militants of the banned Tehrik-e-Taliban Mohmand chapter attacked a rival group of Ajmal Khan in Khwaizai Baizai area of Upper Mohmand in the wee hour on Wednesday, sources told. According to details, militants of the banned TTP Mohmand chapter attacked the house and center of Malik Ajmal Khan, a like-minded of the rival group of TTP (Shah Group) and head of Khwaizai Aman Jirga in the wee hours but the latter retaliated and after a fierce ambush, TTP militants retreated when security forces also supplemented Ajmal Group artillery shelling the area heavily from headquarters, Ghallanai. However no casualty has been reported so far. TTP have killed several militants of the Shah Group previously in a fierce battle in the same area.
