In Mexico City earthquake hit the city on Friday . An earthquake of 6.0 intensity was recorded on the Richter scale . The earthquake was felt in the states of Baza California Sur and Sinaloa....
I'm confused. The Reuters news report attached to this post says: "An earthquake registering six on the Richter scale, with the epicentre in the Sea of Cortez, shook western Mexico on Friday, but there were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
The quake's epicentre was 68km southwest of Ahome, a city of about 390 000 people in Mexico's Sinaloa state.
The tremor, at a depth of about 10 km, hit the area early on Friday morning.
In the city of Los Mochis, 75km from the epicentre, windows rattled, but workers at two hotels described the shaking as light."
That information seems to invalidate the headline of this report and the photo aarana attached.
Problem about some of these disaster reports is, different journals give different information. Just an example. One news report such as from Australia would give a report about something. When I change to the Philippine TV it gives a totally different report about a disaster that was of such magnitude to panic the people but it never happened. Reports in this country are false most of the time from the Philippine ABS CBN channel 2. 5/7/2009.
