    he is back!!!!
manny

Tonight is the night that Manny Ramirez gets to come back from the fifty game suspension that was issued to him for doing steroids. The Dodgers thought that with their big bat out of the line up that they would loose ground against the rest of the national league west, yet indeed they are still in first place and not looking like they will be slowing down.

I hope that with Manny's experience the rest of league takes note and start playing the game the way it should be played. Im tired of seeing Americas past time being tarnished by drug use. What example do these super stars set for the young kids that look up to them and idolize them. Baseball has been looked down upon for the past few years, hopefully Manny is the last case in which baseball needs to be embarrassed for.

Manny said in his interview "God is good and good is God," that was easy for him to say because he is the one who has the two year 45 million dollar deal. He got paid millions of dollars to sit and say sorry. As a Dodger fan and a huge fan of baseball i hope that all the players around the league move on from the steroids era and start taking the sport of baseball back to being the greatest sport ever played!!!

Yah its too bad the fine young men who replaced his position are not even mentioned and forgotten about... it is a crime, which is controlled by money and shallow fans... I dont see much, or even any remorse coming from Manny, its sad how athletes with such gifts can carry themselves..
How many more athletes are going to violate our trust, then play dumb about it? I don't buy this temporary retardation from anyone, especially athletes soaking up all our money..

i completely agree and what is sad is that these men are looked up to by the children, so the examples set are horrible!!!

Manny didn't get paid while he sat out his suspension. As a matter of fact he lost 7 million over it. I hated Barry Bonds when he took steroids (Im a Dodger fan). I cursed Giambi, A-Roid, Mcguire and the rest of them. When Manny tested dirty....I was mad he got caught. Everyone's mad when its a player from another team but when it someone from your own team....I'm glad Manny's back and I'm not going to try and over analyze his interviews and facial expressions to see if he was remorseful...I'm just going to watch him play ball!

Manny did get paid what happened is he had to give 7 or 8 million out of his contract so his two year 45 million dollar deal he only got paid like 14 million this year instead of 22 mill... But we will see if this fixes his attitude towards the game.
