Sarah Palin resigned her seat as Governor of Alaska today, lending to the list of setbacks the Republican party has suffered over the past few weeks. There are theories that she is going to vy for the 2012 Presidential nomination.
In a speech she gave the Associated Press, Palin said that she wants to continue to serve the American people, but not as governor of Alaska.
Palin went on to say that this is the best thing for her family and Alaska. She said she wants to continue to serve, but not as governor. This is most likely not the end of her political career, but only time will tell.
