ok so for my first ever blog I would just like to point out a few things! let me ask you this, why is it that the swine flu reached the highest threat level for an illness, it is now a pandemic, and then there is a media black out on the sickness? the illness is still very well intact its actually spinning out of control and they still have no cure. Yet there is still no news coverage on this issue! Further more why is it that when micheal jackson dies, all respects to mike, that this is all we here about for a week now. I know it was a tragedy but there are quite a few other news stories that I would like to here about like whats going on in iran for example, or maybe what north korea is talkin about, or even how bad the swine flu really is becoming! I saw on the news the other day a really quick maybe 30 sec. clip about the swine flu it was in the weather section of the news it listed things to look out for in the hot summer sun and on the list was sneezing, coughing, cold simptoms oh yea and the SWINE FLU as if it was nothing to be concerned about. I singed up for this site in hopes that peole will read my blogs and even if they are mildly interested in what I have to say its a lil bit more that I gave someone to think about so until next time. News is now defined by a corporate media that likes to set an agenda to keep people away from serious issues or at least to trivialise them. It is also a matter of what sells. Pop culture is so all pervasive that people are often more interested in the light news after a hard days work than getting involved with serious issues and news. It is a sad reality but one that has to be faced.

i know and now a days people would rather sit back and watch things that are mind numbingly unimportant in the sense of our life and whats important to us most the time masses would rather be controled for if there is no control only chaos can strive and the fear is what drives them to be led!
