Manila, Philippines--Prayer; Being Filipinos, it was engraved in our culture to have always been prayerful when all else fails.
A group of Catholic schools in the Philippines recently concluded a mass, where all the students prayed for something more abounding than thaumaturgy.
Radio report of dwIZ’s Erwin Aguilon stated that the Catholic School Educator’s Association of the Philippines President Monsignor Jerry Santos joined the schools in prayer for a "miracle."
The group was hoping that the May 2010 elections will be automated.
Monsignor also stressed that the manual elections, gives richer candidates a chance to cheat the polls.
He also added that they are also willing to volunteer their students in the safeguarding of the ballots in case the computerization of the elections will not push through.
