Well, Zelaya's left leaning ways are hardly in keeping with US sentiments. It seems over the last few decades of propaganda, people in the US have just become completely convinced that socialism or Marxism and (god forbid) communism are just the greatest evils in the world. I am not well informed about Zelaya as a president, except that he planned to introduce certain reforms reportedly aimed at equitable wealth distribution and amending labour laws, calculated to peeve the ruling class. However, I cannot be certain of the veracity of these reports. It is not beyond conception that the US sponsored the coup in the first place. As it is, Zelaya made the critical mistake and didn't follow the Socratic path; he tried to amend the law. Let's see.
