I remember listening to Michael JacksonMichael Jackson's "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough" while I was high on marijuana for the first (and last) time during the spring of '03. If you...
Michael Jackson was a great performer. When you listen to songs like "Dirty Diana" you can hear his talent just soaring through the music. The man was a genious like all the other greats and he will be greatly missed.
I wish the media would stop focusin on the negative aspects of his life. When I admire a perfomer, an artist. I admire the talent they give me not their personal life. To me, Michael was a perfect performer who like any other human being had issue sin his life but I wasn't listening to his issues, I am listening to his music, his art, his Legacy and that is all that should ever matter but in this day and age all society cares about is the negative.
I hope the media lets him Rest In Peace. He was taken too early just like Farrah Fawcett was taken too brutally. He will always be a Legend, and an Icon who's music touches me dearly.
If anyone has anything other than a positive note to say about him , I feel they should not say anything at all.
There isn't one person I know that wasn't affected by Michael in someway. If you take time to make fun of someone, that means that you are paying close attention. So although a lot of jokes about him are in extremely bad taste, its the narrowest form of flattery, whether it's realized or not. No matter what people say about him, there's always at least ONE MJ song that you love whether he sang it originally or not. A lot of his lesser songs were covered by other artists and became hits. Food for thought.
Indeed he has left a imprint on the history of music forever. We will miss him, even though he was a bit odd, very misunderstood and childlike in his own right. He had reason to be, and we need to know that he left our world a very sick man with his addicitons.
