Sarah Palin: Bad for women's rights
Though its obvious that Sarah Palin has bad politics all around, one thing that got my goat during the election is just how little she supported women's rights.
When Palin was mayor of Juneau, she passed a law requiring rape victims to pay up to $1500 for "rape kits" which included a forensic examination, police costs and the morning after pill. Her reasoning? She would not support anything that could have killed an unborn child.
Aside from this, Palin, though presented in the light, does not represent the "new feminism". As a feminist, I would hate to be associated with such a woman.

Sarah Palin has attempted to send women in politics back to the dark ages. Many comment how she was treated unfairly by the media and the American public... I believe she brought this upon herself.

You are both activists. You are both women. You have no children and she does. A little bit of a different perspective. You and Sarah Palin have more in common than you like so you try to tear her down.
My personal feelings are, I do not trust her being a mother and having to at some point sent troops in.
