Two conscutive bomb blasts,one injured in Landikotal

LANDIKOTAL: One person injured and shops received damages in two separate bombs blasts in Landikotal bazaar late Wednesday evening.

A vegetable seller injured when a low intensity bomb went off in the vegetable shop, while no casualty occurred in the other bomb blast planted in the cell phones market in Landikotal bazaar at 9:15pm,eyewitness told to this scribe on phone. Meanwhile, security forces dismantled the other bomb, the third one, planted at FC firing range at Charwazgai area of Landikotal sub-division of Khyber Agency, officials said.

A toy bomb, which was planted with the vegetable vender, went off at 9pm,leaving the vegetable seller named Akhtar Ali, resident of Peshawar injured, followed by the other bomb blast after fifteen minutes in the Mobile cell phones market at 9:15 pm,no casualty occurred in the incident, as the market was closed. The bomb was planted at the entrance of the market, sources added.

Later in the same hour, information reached that miscreants have planted an other bomb in the area of FC firing range at Charwazgai; security forces rushed to the sight and defused a high intensity bomb. The bomb was planted near the FC range targeting the security forces, Official sources said. Security has been put on high alert after the incidents in Landikotal. Security forces arrested a suspected Afghan national from the Pak-Afghan border area of Pasidkhel and started interrogation.
