:Soon after all the IIFA celebration in the Bachchan family, comes some bad news. Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, has been emboriled in a legal hassle.

Reports say that some land owned by Aishwarya was originally farm land owned by tribals and farmers in the Dhule and Nandurbar districts. The land was first bought by a windmill company called Suzlon at rates as low as Rs.7000.

It was susequently sold to investers including celebrities like Ash, Twinkle Khanna and Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh at rates as high as Rs. 36 lakhs. Bhatiya Janata Party leader Nitin Gadkari has sued the owners of this land. Maharashtra's non-conventional Energy Minister Vinay Kore has taken the matter very seriously and announced a probe into the disparities of sale and purchase that are evident in this case.

If the case is decided in the favour of the original owners, the current owners may have to pay upto Rs.1 lakh per month to them as compensation.

    Isn't that a very old issue? Or something similar to a older issue has come up? I believe I read somewhere of Pa Bachan being sued over some territorial matter.

    It's odd but it seems like the little B is basking in the reflected glory of being Ash's hubby rather than his own accomplishments. Nothing to support that other than the body language and the fact that her career is still big news while his is still the same.
