Sigh. "I wish I could go to a farmer's market more often," you say to yourself as you munch on a tastless apple, "But how can i go? I work 9-5 and dont live anywhere near the ferrybuilding.."
Aha! Listen up ladies in gentlemen of San Francisco! I have a solution for you! The sony metreon!
What! you may exclaim! But fear not I speak no lies. At the bottom of the Sony metreon, there is a recently opened farmers market. while it is smaller than the yuppie market at the ferrybuilding, The Sony Metreon farmers market plans to expand! Its located on 4th and Howard street. And its hours are exceptioanlly conveient
THe farmers market is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays.
So pop in and grab a delcious isreali styple falafal pita, pick up some fruit, or even winetaste for $5. Going to a movie? grab some snacks there. Or take your grub outside and sit in the park and work on your suntan.
For me its a dream come true. But then again i happen to love succulent peaches and delicous israeli food. Some come to the SOny meteon and get some free samples and support local buissnesses.
Love
a farmer's market junkie
