Rights and entitlements must come from somewhere. The Founding Fathers said that we are all endowed by our creator with certain unalienable rights, that among them are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Where does it say we have an unalienable right to health care?
Throughout my working life, I've always made finding a job with medical benefits a priority. Throughout that time, over 40 years, I've managed to find them. Others can do the same. It just takes a little more time and energy than siting around complaining.
In the end, people will get whatever they're willing to settle for.
Among the Industrialized countries in the world, only South Africa & the US do not have National Health Care. To many of us, health care should be a right & not a privilege.
