The Swiss want to really cuddle their super rich folk – they plan to offer to them exotic locations where they can live in luxury far away from commoners who have nothing but nuisance values. It is thee in all parts of the world – hence, the Swiss are not doing anything new. In India, film celebrities have acquired sites in the Mauritius for building their dream castles. In fact, every city keeps space reserved locations for the super rich. The Swiss wants to make available land meant for agriculture to the niche public so that the owners can enjoy the spectacular views of Nature at her best in the form of lakes and alpine surroundings. One of the arguments in favor of such a scheme is that if the railways can have first class carriages where the passenger shells out more for extra benefits and comfort, why can the same logic not be extended to luxury living?

Let's face it. The more things change, they more they stay the same. The rich get richer, the poor get poorer, and everyone in the middle gets the scraps. We all live with it and know this. So we're to blame as much as anyone else is.

changez - that is the way the cookie crumbles ... very few have graduated to the super rich from the middle class and some have dropped to the lowest level, also from the middle level ... the game goes on and on ...

In the US, we have what are called "gated communities" which is where rich people are separated from everyone else by a physical gate. Sometimes these communities have their own grocery stores, businesses and everything else you could need. This makes it so that housewives of rich CEOs don't have to venture outside their world to get a gallon of milk or anything for that matter.

Like China, Philippine rural areas are fast fading away because as the old farmers become of age they sell off portions of their farmland to any
people wanting to build a house on, and what used to be a sparse community where farmers and their relatives lived with a few houses far in between is now being turned into urban communities with businesses such as shops, banks bakeries and especially watering holes selling your
favorite alcoholic poison and cigarettes. 24/6/2009.
