Despite an alarming warning from the Iranian Supreme Leader, Iranian people are amid in their protests of the recent election that saw Mir Hossein Moussavi controversially lose the election. With the large number of protesters, government countered by sending a monumental number of police officers in to keep damage control down. However, the influx of police has only turned the protests more sour and violent. Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has called for an end to these protest's and stated that he supports the outcome of the recent election, a statement that has only enraged the Iranian people even more.

Each day that passes the Iranian people are turning more violent and the conflict is becoming bloodier and bloodier. Police have resorted to using water guns and tear gas in attempts to fend off the mass numbers of Iranian protesters. One of the most controversial issues besides the actual election is the fact that American President Barack Obama has and will not make a public announcement showing his support for the protesters. Many analysts and American people, whether Republican or Democratic believe that Obama needs and should voice his support for the protesters.
